Manon de Boer and Ane Hjort Guttu talk together at CAST at an ‘in conversation’ event ahead of an exhibition of their work. Groundwork presented Guttu’s ‘How to Become a Non-Artist’ and de Boer’s ‘The Untroubled Mind’, two films that pay attention to the approach that the artists’ sons have taken to construction and making. These two works, made quite independently of each other, consider the ways in which young children express themselves in their home environments.
